CSR Officer

    We are in the process of implementing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. As part of this program, we have identified four key focus areas: Food & Nutrition, Education, Climate Change, and Gender Equity. Communications Trainer

Mobile Nutrition and Health Clinic Partnership

As part of its Sustainability/CSR Program, Olympic Industries Limited is looking for an organization to put in place a mobile nutrition and health clinic project. The project would provide basic medical services to workers and their communities, addressing their basic medical needs but focusing on nutrition as much as possible. In exchange for this service, users would be given crucial information about good nutrition practices. Health practitioners would screen everyone for malnutrition and offer solutions (micronutrient tablets or sprinkles, ORS, etc.). Applicants should propose the specifics of how they believe would be best to provide these services within the budget and limitations provided.

Scholarships Project Manager(s)

We are adopting a scholarship project for female employees of Olympic who wish to pursue the further education necessary to move up the ranks to a managerial position, or who wish to take on a non-traditional role in our company. SRHR Training Implementer(s)

The purpose of this project is to improve knowledge of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) amongst our workers, and where appropriate, their families (SDG 5). The length of the project is indefinite, and largely depends on the activities proposed by the implementing partner. We hope that such an initiative will both improve their quality of life, as well as increase productivity and reduce absenteeism due to illness.

Applicants are expected to provide a proposal which outlines a plan for implementation of a training projects proposed by Olympic. Applicants are also welcome to propose additional projects which fall under the defined objectives and scope. The selected applicant will be expected to put in action their implementation plan and assist Olympic in monitoring and reporting on their activities. Through training sessions, Olympic would like to ensure that workers gain at least some knowledge of SRHR issues and best practices. This project should be culturally-appropriate and sustainable in nature. As such, the chosen implementing party will be expected to help Olympic integrate certain key SRHR concepts into our standard training of new workers, and to contribute to the working environment by instituting mechanisms to deal with gender issues.

Applicants are welcome to propose additional projects which fall under the defined objectives and scope. However, all applicants must commit to implementing the SRHR training at a minimum.

Environmental Impact Assessor(s)

To begin our environmental initiative on the right footing, we would like to engage a third-party to assess the company’s environmental footprint, help set realistic targets for improvement, and provide advice on how to reach those targets. This year’s main goals are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase the use of renewable energies, and increase energy efficiency.

Applicants are expected to provide a proposal detailing their methods of environmental footprint assessment.
